The reasons we chose SAP Business One were cost, ease of use, the integration of the manufacturing, stock and finance modules and the ability to cope with future expansion of the business. With our previous SAP B1 reseller I was unhappy with the level of support I received on joining the company and the fact that the account manager had not visited us in 3 years. There had been no enhancements or audits of our system since installation in 2007/08 which meant that we were not using SAP efficiently. When I seek out an IT company to provide support services it is particularly important that they engage with our business and B1 Systems have done this.
We have always felt ‘looked after’ by B1 Systems. Being a smaller company than other SAP Business One resellers, they took the time to understand and address our needs and were more hands on in supporting and implementing our SAP system. We have been impressed with the level and speed of support and accessibility to SAP Business One implementation consultants in resolving any queries we have had.
After running the business for many years on Quickbooks, we needed a more advanced accounts package suitable for SMEs. Of all the packages we looked at, SAP B1 seems most capable of being tailored to our business’s way of working, easiest to access and offers a very stable platform. Our accounts package is the backbone of our company, I wanted the best available and I felt a SAP package would offer me that. After initially being sold SAP B1 by a much larger reseller, I felt that their understanding of my needs and what I wanted was getting lost in their help centre which was proving both frustrating and costly, so I looked around for a smaller company that could offer better quality B1 assistance. I found B1 Systems 3 years ago and have been very pleased with their level of understanding and service.
